I never know where the road leads to, I simply decide the direction and take my steps. This year my focus was health, weeding the negatives out, clearing my body of toxins, changing even the fabrics I put on my body to only cotton, linens and silk because our skin absorbs everything. And I don’t feel any less lovely. Also I dedicate time to understanding where exactly my clothing came from, down to the hugs I got very to those who made them. In this way I understand the energy and effort in the items I choose to wear. And I adore and honor every piece. Have you thought about what chemicals are in your clothing?

Talk about it. We don’t heal in silence. As a strong woman I name the storms so those around me can learn to name theirs—depression, anxiety, and all the quiet battles in between. There is no shame in using our voices; there is power in being seen, heard, and held by our community. We rise together, one honest breath at a time.
Today I choose to talk about it. Depression and anxiety are not a reflection of weak hearts, but injuries we carry with courage. In our clan of voices, we hold space for every truth—no blame, no silence, just care. If we speak our truth, we gift our children a path where healing begins with being heard.

Do you have questions about these medicines? About the Anahusca and Ayahuasca fallout

On the path of master plants, there are different medicines that open doors to the spiritual, emotional and physical world. Two of these medicines, although different, share a common purpose: deep healing and connection with the sacred. We refer to the Ayahuasca and the Anahusca.

The Ayahuasca: the Grandmother

Ayahuasca is a sacred plant traditionally used in the Amazon. She is known as the grandmother, because her energy is feminine, wise, ancient and compassionate. Like any loving grandmother, it can be soft, but also firm when necessary. She guides tenderly, but also with clarity, showing us what we need to see to heal, even if sometimes it hurts.

Grandma Ayahuasca teaches with visions, revelations, and a deep sense of connection with the whole. It is an enveloping energy, which takes its time to show the way, accompanying us step by step.

La Anahusca: El Abuelo

On the other hand, Anahusca - a lesser known medicine, which is usually prepared with Syrian ruda (Peganum harmala) as a MAO inhibitor and roots such as Tepezcohuite (Mimosa tenuiflora) that contain visionary traces - manifests itself as the grandfather. His energy is masculine, direct, frank and blunt.

Where grandma can wrap us in stories, symbols and visions, grandpa goes to the point, with a medicine that does not always show so many images, but that goes straight to the heart of the matter. Healing with Anahusca is sometimes more sober, more bodily, more focused, but just as powerful.

Two complementary energies

Both medicines are beautiful and powerful in their own way. Grandma Ayahuasca takes us through the inner world with her loving wisdom, while Grandpa Anahusca confronts us with an unadorned truth, helping us to release what no longer serves us.

It’s not that one is better than the other. They are different expressions of the spirit of healing, and each one arrives when the person is ready to receive it. In the end, both lead us to the same destination: the reunion with ourselves.

OWN YOUR S**T

You guys, for serious, it’s very important that you learn how to own your s**t. At some point in your life, you really have to get honest about the weirdest and most damaged and most broken parts of your existence, and take responsibility for it all...lovingly, but unblinkingly.

You gotta know your own crazy. Can’t own your s**t without knowing your crazy.

For many years, I didn’t own my s**t because I didn’t KNOW my s**t. If you don’t know your s**t, people, then that s**t will control you and make your life into Crazy Town. Until you own your s**t, all you do is make excuses for the madness that is always surrounding you, while throwing blame around like confetti.

By this point in my life, though, I know the worst of me. I know the triggers that make me into a temporarily insane person. I know my vulnerabilities and my pride. I know the stuff that makes me want to deceive, and the stuff that makes me vindictive, and the stuff that makes me insecure, and the stuff that makes me just flat-out mean and ugly. And I definitely know all my demons by their first names.

This is what therapy does — helps you to learn your s**t, inside and out. This is what meditation is for. This is what recovery is for. This is what reconciling the contradictions of your life is for. This is what radical honesty is for. This is what the courage of truthful introspection is for.

Owning your s**t begins to happen the moment you finally recognize that the common denominator in all your biggest problems is YOU.

Not them: YOU.

It’s a beautiful, humbling, necessary realization. It’s an education. It’s painful. It’s the beginning of adulthood. It’s pretty much the definition of maturity.

And then you take a deep breath and say, “OK, I admit it. It’s me. That’s my crazy s**t. I own it. Now what?”

Then, the work begins

Own your s**t with love and perspective and self-compassion...but definitely own it.

Don’t worry if other people are owning their s**t or not. That isn’t your problem. Just own yours. Keep your side of the street clean and honest, and rest of it is none of your business.

Just be honest and real.

ONWARD!

Kambo, also known as the “vaccine of the forest,” is a traditional Amazonian ritual and natural medicine derived from the secretions of the Phyllomedusa bicolor tree frog. In indigenous communities, Kambo is used for its purifying and cleansing properties at the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Here is a spiritual explanation for the ceremony of Kambo:

1. **Application of Kambo:**
During a Kambo ceremony, a shaman or a trained practitioner administers small burns on the skin, typically on the upper arm or leg, using a stick or vine. The Kambo secretion is then applied to these burns, allowing the peptides and toxins from the frog’s secretion to enter the body. This process is believed to cleanse the body and spirit by removing negative energies and blockages.

2. **Spiritual Significance:**
From a spiritual perspective, Kambo is seen as a powerful tool for purging impurities, releasing stagnant energy, and restoring balance within the individual. The frog is considered a messenger of the spirit world and is believed to offer protection, guidance, and healing to those who partake in the ceremony. ** 3. How Kambo Works:**
The bioactive peptides in Kambo have various effects on the body, including boosting the immune system, reducing inflammation, and promoting detoxification. Spiritually, the purging and cleansing effects of Kambo are thought to help release emotional trauma, negative thought patterns, and energetic blockages that may be hindering personal growth and well-being.

4. **Benefits of Kambo:**
- **Physical Benefits:** Kambo is believed to strengthen the immune system, improve physical vitality, and detoxify the body.
- **Mental and Emotional Benefits:** Kambo is thought to help clear the mind, increase focus, and promote emotional healing by releasing stored trauma and negative emotions.
- **Spiritual Benefits:** Kambo is seen as a sacred medicine that can deepen one’s connection to the spiritual realm, enhance intuition, and facilitate spiritual growth and transformation. Are you interested in in kambo?
