Busy parents over 40 — if kettlebell swings hurt your back, this is probably why.

Most people skip the foundation.

The hinge.

Kettlebell swings are powerful, but they require strong hip mechanics and proper movement patterns.

That’s why I always start clients with kettlebell deadlifts.

Deadlifts teach the hinge, strengthen the hips, and protect the lower back.

Once that pattern is solid, swings become one of the best fat-burning exercises you can do.

Strong movement first.

Intensity second.

That’s the foundation of the Bulletproof Parent Method.

If push-ups feel impossible… start here.

Most busy parents try to jump straight to floor push-ups before they have the strength for them.

That’s why shoulders hurt, elbows ache, and people quit.

Incline push-ups are one of the best ways to build pressing strength safely while improving shoulder stability and core strength.

Start where you are.

Progress gradually.

Strength builds over time.

That’s the foundation of the Bulletproof Parent Method.

Strong parents raise strong kids.

If you’re a busy parent over 40, your workouts don’t need to be complicated.

They need to be effective, joint-friendly, and sustainable.

These 5 exercises build the kind of strength that actually carries over into real life — lifting groceries, chasing kids, protecting your back, and staying active as you age.

Here are the 5 kettlebell movements I recommend every busy parent trains weekly:

1️⃣ Kettlebell Deadlift – builds strong hips and protects the lower back
2️⃣ Kettlebell Row – improves posture and upper back strength
3️⃣ Goblet Squat – strengthens legs and improves mobility
4️⃣ Suitcase Carry – builds real core strength and stability
5️⃣ Kettlebell Press – develops shoulder strength and resilience

You don’t need endless workouts.

You need the right movements done consistently.

That’s the foundation of the Bulletproof Parent Method.

Strong parents raise strong kids.

Save this workout for later.

Direct quote from Andrea’s daughter:

“Mom… how do I get arms like yours?”

Andrea is 40+.

She didn’t get strong overnight.

She built it through consistency. Showing up for three focused workouts a week. Doing the work even on busy days when life would’ve made it easy to skip.

Now her daughter notices.

And that’s the real win.

Not the handstand.
Not the arms.

The example she’s setting.

Because the truth is… our kids are always watching.

Strong moms raise strong daughters.

Beast mode activated. 🏈

Grayson hit the spin move, shook the defender, and turned on the jets for the end zone.

Moments like this remind me how much work he’s been putting in.

And the next chapter just got bigger…
He just got into his high school of choice.

Defenses…you’ve been warned.

If you can’t do pull-ups yet… start here.

Most busy parents skip pulling exercises completely.

That’s a problem.

Pulling strength protects your shoulders, improves posture, and builds the back muscles most people lose after 40.

Kettlebell rows build the strength you need before progressing to pull-ups.

Strong backs make strong parents.

Most people can’t do pull-ups.

Especially busy parents who haven’t trained their back muscles in years.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t build the strength for them.

Kettlebell rows are one of the best ways to develop pulling strength, improve posture, and build a strong back without needing a pull-up bar.

Start where you are.

Strength builds step by step.

That’s how the Bulletproof Parent Method works.

Busy moms don’t do this…

At least that’s what most people think.

Andrea is a busy mom with a full schedule and real life responsibilities.

Not long ago she avoided certain tops.
Flutter sleeves.
Cap sleeves.
Anything that showed her arms.

Now?

She’s doing handstands.

Not because she spends hours in the gym.

Not because she’s on some extreme diet.

She trains three focused workouts a week and builds real strength.

And the best part isn’t the handstand.

It’s the confidence.

The ability to wear what she wants, feel strong, and know she earned it.

If you’re a busy mom who thinks strength like this is out of reach…

It’s not.

Andrea is proof.

03/04/2026

Andrea told me something honest on our call.

“In the past I would hesitate to buy tops with flutter sleeves because I felt like my arms would look flabby.”

So she’d throw on a cardigan to hide them.

A lot of busy moms feel this way about their arms, upper body strength, and confidence in sleeveless tops.

But today?

She wore the outfit anyway.

And in her words…

“I felt GREAT.”

Because over the past months she built strong, toned arms through consistent kettlebell training, pull-ups, handstand work, and simple strength workouts for busy moms.

All those kettlebell swings.
The pull-ups.
The handstands.
Showing up even when the 75 seconds felt like forever.

It all added up.

And now the arms she once hid…
are the arms she’s proud to show.

Proud of you Andrea. 👊

If you’ve ever searched “how to get rid of flabby arms”… you’re definitely not alone.

If you’re a busy mom over 40 who feels frustrated with flabby arms, weak upper body strength, or hiding in cardigans, just know it doesn’t have to stay that way.

Andrea started exactly where many moms do.

Stronger arms, more confidence, and better energy are trainable.

And if you have a friend who always says “my arms are my problem area”… send this to her.

If you want to know how we approached her arm training, kettlebell workouts, and strength program for busy moms, send me a message and I’ll point you in the right direction.

03/03/2026

She didn’t start here.

She started unsure.

Avoiding certain tops.

Throwing on cardigans.

Now?

She does handstand push-ups.

She trains 3 days a week.

She’s busy.

She didn’t crash diet.

She built strength.

That’s what changes confidence.

If you’re a busy mom over 40 who wants to feel strong in your own skin again…
