Employee Appreciation Day: Beach Edition! 🌴

Today at Charter Senior Living of Pekin, we brought the beach to work! 🌊 Our amazing team showed up in their best beachwear and our residents enjoyed a little tropical escape with some refreshing pina coladas.

We’re so grateful for our dedicated team who brings sunshine to our community/residents eveyday.☀️

We kicked off our Employee Appreciation Week with a busy but FUN day at Charter Senior Living of Pekin!

The day started with everyone repping their favorite game day shirts —a perfect way to get into the spirit! We followed it up with some horse races, refreshments, and relaxing facials.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better… we wrapped it up with our very own “professional-level” volleyball match!

So many laughs and smiles all around—that’s what it’s all about. ❤️

***Testimonial Time***

It is with great pleasure that I write in behalf of Charter Assisted Living of Pekin. My widowed mother moved there in April 2024 and in January 2025 celebrated her 90th birthday with family, residents, and the staff at Charter. It’s comforting for me, her son, to know that the staff takes good care of her and that she has many people with which to socialize. It’s wonderful that many activities are planned throughout the week to keep her occupied. The staff has always been compassionate, cooperative, friendly, and very capable in carrying out their responsibilities. They treat the residents with dignity and respect. The meals are healthy and quite delicious. I have enjoyed all the meals I have eaten there. My mother is happy and content living at Charter. I would recommend it to anyone!
