Introducing another senior living success story from Otterbein Pemberville!

Meet Marilyn S., who arrived at Otterbein Pemberville last Friday evening seeking a quick and successful recovery through our rehab and therapy programs. In just a short time, Marilyn has made incredible progress and is hopeful to return home this weekend!

Working with our therapy team on both speech and overall strength, Marilyn has seen remarkable improvement, especially in walking and completing daily tasks independently. One of her favorite therapy activities? Relaxing leg compressions!

During her stay, Marilyn shared that she “can’t believe some of the meals” and loves being able to choose exactly what she wants to eat. While she hasn’t needed much assistance, she says every partner she’s interacted with has been wonderful. A sweet bonus, she even reconnected with a couple of old friends who live here!

We’re so proud of Marilyn’s determination and thrilled she chose Otterbein for her recovery. Her journey is a shining example of why Otterbein SeniorLife is a trusted leader in expert, compassionate post-acute care. 🥰🦦

We had the pleasure of welcoming participants from the Lighthouse Ride last week! This inspiring group of bicyclists is pedaling all the way from Maine to California to raise money and awareness in support of Catholic education in Belize. During their stop, they took time to chat with our residents about the mission behind their cross-country journey. Starting in Maine on July 15th, they’re expected to reach California by the end of September. What an incredible cause and an even more incredible adventure! 🚴🚴‍♀️🥰

Our sweet community dog, Patches, is going to be a mama! 🐕 ❤️ We are all so excited to welcome her little bundles of joy with nine Labradoodle puppies expected this Sunday. We will share pup – dates so you can follow along on her motherhood journey!
