The true success of our clinicians is found in heartfelt moments like the one shared between BAYADA Physical Therapist (PT) Sam and his client, Marguerite, upon her final discharge. Following a fall, Marguerite suffered a right knee laceration, along with pneumonia and heart failure, which left her primarily wheelchair-bound after her hospitalization. At her start of care, her personal goal was to walk in her kitchen again.

With the support of her PT Sam, Physical Therapist Assistant Stephen, and Occupational Therapist Jennifer, she not only met, but exceeded that goal. She surprised herself as she was able to walk not just in her kitchen, but all throughout her home and back to her door, which she had not been able to do in quite some time. This milestone reflects the power of interdisciplinary therapy and truly patient-centered care.

BAYADA Campus Recruiting Manager Alyson recently partnered with Greensboro, NC Director Katy and Associate Carla to host an NCLEX Trivia Night with nursing students from ECPI University and Guilford Technical Community College | GTCC. They had a wonderful time connecting with students as they strategized, collaborated, and worked together to choose the correct answers.

Starting as a Director of Operations for a BAYADA Hospice office in Harrisburg, PA, Ally has grown into her current role as our National Director of Military and Veteran Services. She shares, “Every day, I feel like I’m part of something bigger here.”

Rooted in her Army background, Ally’s values of honor, integrity, and service are what drew her to BAYADA’s culture of compassion, excellence, and reliability. Through her passion for supporting veterans, she helped to establish BAYADA’s Salute to Service program.

Today, on World Behavior Analysis Day, we celebrate the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and our specialists who put it into compassionate action every day. Our evidence-based, one-on-one ABA services help children with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities build essential life skills, improve communication, and foster independence at home, in school, and in our centers.

Our teams in Greensboro and Winston-Salem, NC recently came together to volunteer at the Friends of Ronald McDonald House Charities Piedmont Triad, which provides a “home away from home” for families whose children are receiving medical care in their communities.

They shared smiles and meaningful moments while preparing sweet and salty treats for the families staying there. We are so grateful for their commitment to living out our BAYADA Beliefs through compassionate service in the communities where we live and work.

After eight years as a Psychological Operations Specialist in the U.S. Army, Jasmine’s mission has always been to communicate with compassion and protect others. Today, she continues that mission as a BAYADA Home Health Aide (HHA).

“I want to be there to listen, assist in seeking justice, and help survivors adapt and overcome,” Jasmine shares.

She first discovered BAYADA, when she was introduced to our Advance Through Nursing program, which offers scholarship opportunities for caregivers. Now, she’s on her way to becoming a Registered Nurse and hopes to specialize as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE), supporting survivors through some of their hardest moments.

We’re honored to be part of Jasmine’s journey of service to her clients, her community, and our country. ❤️

In honor of Women’s History Month and Women’s Military Month, the Military Community Network (MILCOM) and the Women in Limitless Leadership (WILL) Employee Resource Councils (ERC) came together to host a Salute to Service Veteran Café at our Global Support Center.

This community-centered gathering created space to honor and support veterans, their families, and community members, while fostering connection, understanding, and more informed care through military cultural awareness.

We are grateful to our BAYADA employees and veteran community who joined us to recognize those who have served, and to our MILCOM and WILL ERCs for organizing such a meaningful event in support of our mission.
