A story that truly touched my heart.
Nicky, a fellow Belgian, is fighting for his daughter Charlie who was diagnosed with SCN2A at just 2 years old. A rare condition that brings severe autism and epilepsy, and requires highly specialized care.
The hope lies in advanced treatment and research in the United States, where leading children’s hospitals are working toward better outcomes and one day, a cure.
They are also hoping to attend the SCN2A research conference in Orlando this July, a rare opportunity to connect directly with the doctors and scientists dedicated to children like Charlie.
In addition, a NightWatch epilepsy monitor is urgently needed to keep her safe during the night something no parent should have to go without.
