At Valerie’s House, children and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one find more than just a program — they find a safe place to heal together 💜

From group support sessions to activities that help kids express their grief in healthy ways, Valerie’s House walks alongside families with compassion, empathy and hope. In 2024 alone, over 81,000 children received grief and bereavement support, many right here in our own community. Valerie’s House is giving them tools to cope, connect, and rebuild their lives after loss.

Not 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 kind of Karen 😉 Ours is the green-wigged, high-vibe, sparkle-bringing, “keep it all together” kind of Karen! 💚🎭 She’s been cheering us on for years, and this year she jumped all the way in as a new member! 🤩

Behind the scenes, she’s part of the quiet magic ✨ that helps our little mini New Orleans at Seville Quarter stay the most electric, joyful vibe around. Even with her super fun packed schedule, she still manages to show up, and sprinkle her energy when we need it most!
