Hello everyone! I am out of the office this week because I am running for the Key!

The clients at the Key Training Center count on the funds that are raised each summer to support programs and living costs. They have so many awesome programs for adults with developmental disabilities-day programs, residential care and job training. Every year our team makes the journey from Tallahassee to Lecanto on foot to raise support and awareness!

Next Tuesday, April 9th, the ⚡️ Tampa Bay Lightning ⚡️ is hosting a Neurodiversity ♾️ Night. CARD will be in attendance hosting a resource table to answer questions. Fans can enjoy the new sensory space at Amalie Arena if they need a break during the game. In addition, sensory bags will be available for check out at guest services.

This workshop is for all families and caregivers of pre-kindergarten children who want to meet other families and learn about behavior strategies, communication skills, math, reading, and technology strategies and receive books and activities to use with their kids at home.

Citrus County Parks and Recreation Division has exciting news to share! We have partnered with Legends for Youth Clinic, presented by the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association, to host our first-ever Baseball Clinic.

Kids aged 6 to 16 have the opportunity to meet and learn from former Major League Baseball players, who will teach them the fundamentals of the game.

What: FREE Youth Baseball Clinic
When: Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Sensory Skate ⛸ on Monday Nights at Winter Village❄️

Sensory Skate Nights occur every Monday 4-5PM (first hour of rink operations). Tickets will be available for purchase on site by credit card only. *Tickets cannot be purchased in advance.

A sensory zone will also be provided on select Mondays by the City of Tampa.
