745 views. 40 likes. 90% average view duration. 103 subscribers. 3,400 views in the last 28 days. 16.4 hours of watch time.⁣

I know what you’re thinking. Monique, those are small numbers.⁣
⁣
And you’re right. But here’s what those numbers actually represent.⁣
⁣
My mom lost her ability to walk over a year ago. And somewhere in that season, the content stopped. I posted one video on November 2, 2025…and then I just couldn’t. I was too tired. Too stretched. Too in survival mode to show up for anyone else when everything at home needed everything I had.⁣
⁣
Months went by.⁣
⁣
And then one day I felt God say, “Do you trust me?”⁣
Not “get it together.” Not “you’re falling behind.” Just…do you trust me?⁣
⁣
So I dusted myself off. I recommitted. And I posted a new video every single week since March 20, 2026. Not because everything was perfect. Not because the caregiving got easier. But because I decided to do MY part and let God handle the rest.⁣

And here’s the part you can’t see in those analytics…⁣
⁣
My email list has grown. My digital products are selling while I sleep. And I’ve signed 4 new clients.⁣
⁣
WHILE managing nurses in and out of my home most days.⁣
WHILE showing up as a daughter FIRST.⁣
WHILE building something that works even when I can’t.⁣
⁣
So if you’re in a hard season right now and you’re wondering if God can still use what you’re building through it, the answer is yes. But you have to show up. Imperfectly. Inconsistently at first. And then consistently, one week at a time, trusting that what you plant in faithfulness will grow in ways you can’t always measure.⁣
⁣
The numbers you can see are just the beginning. What God is doing behind them is the real story.⁣
⁣
Keep going, sis. Your season is coming.⁣

You've been posting. Consistently. And still no clients.

Stop Calling It Imposter Syndrome

The women who discovered this in 1978 never called it a syndrome.
They called it a phenomenon. That distinction matters.

A syndrome says something is wrong with you. A phenomenon says you're a high achiever in the middle of a transition. Those are two very different things, and ONE of them is actually true.

If you've been feeling like a fraud lately, it's probably not a red light. It might be the clearest sign yet that you're becoming who God called you to be.

I just commented on a post saying “work from home sucks” and I stand by what I said:⁣

Work from home is amazing for those of us who understand that work is work, coworkers are not your friends, and family is more important than work.⁣
⁣
I spent 20+ years in corporate thinking my coworkers were my family. They weren’t. The minute my position was eliminated, those “work friends” disappeared. The company picnics, the happy hours, the birthday celebrations? None of that mattered when they needed to cut costs.⁣
⁣
But when my mom needed me? Corporate didn’t care. They wanted me back in the office. Five days a week. Like my real family didn’t exist.⁣
⁣
That’s when I realized: The office isn’t where community happens. It’s where you trade your time for someone else’s profit while pretending the people you sit next to for 40 hours a week are your people.⁣
⁣
Work from home didn’t ruin workplace culture. It exposed that most of us never had real workplace culture to begin with. We had proximity. And proximity isn’t the same as connection.⁣
⁣
Now I run a coaching business and sell digital products from home. I make peaceful income while being fully present for my mom. I work with clients I actually care about, not people assigned to me by HR. And I’m building something that serves my life instead of consuming it.⁣

Work from home doesn’t suck. Trading your family for a false sense of belonging at a job that will replace you in two weeks? That sucks.⁣

I spent 6 months trying to be a social media influencer. Posted everywhere daily, chased trends, tracked my impressions obsessively. You know how many clients I got? Zero.⁣
⁣
Then my mom became bedridden and everything changed.⁣
⁣
Overnight, I went from running a business to running a business AND being a full-time caregiver. I didn’t have time to post 5 times a day across every platform anymore. I had maybe an hour, sometimes less, to show up online.⁣
⁣
So I had to get strategic. Real strategic.⁣
⁣
Here’s what I learned: Posting as an influencer and posting as a business coach are NOT the same thing.⁣
⁣
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:⁣
→ Posting on every platform just to “be everywhere”⁣
→ Chasing short-form content that disappears in 24 hours⁣
→ Tracking likes, views, and follower counts⁣
→ Writing broad posts for “everyone”⁣
→ Trying to go viral⁣
⁣
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴:⁣
→ Posting my business content on LinkedIn ONLY (because that’s where my ideal clients actually are)⁣
→ Creating long-form content with staying power: YouTube videos, podcast episodes, blog posts⁣
→ Tracking DMs, discovery calls, email list growth and revenue⁣
→ Optimizing my profiles so visitors know exactly what I do, who I help, and how to work with me⁣
→ Building a website that speaks directly to my ideal client and tells them what to do next⁣
⁣
The result?⁣
⁣
𝗜 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝟰 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀. 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗵𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗹𝗲. 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀.⁣

The irony is almost funny. Almost.⁣

It’s your nervous system remembering the last 47 times your expertise got questioned.⁣

Not gonna lie, this one might make some of you uncomfortable.

I spent 3 months "waiting on God" to send me clients after I left corporate.

He didn't.

I had $847 in my bank account and a mortgage due.

That's when a mentor asked me: "Did God tell Noah to sit in the ark and wait for the flood, or did He give him building instructions?"

Sis, that question changed everything.

Because here's what I learned: Faith without a plan isn't trust. It's fear with a scripture reference.

I saw Tabitha Brown say something recently that made me pause.

𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘂𝗿𝘀:
𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝘁, 𝗴𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝗯.

And I know that can sting.
Because we live in a culture that romanticizes “burn the bridge” and “hustle until you make it.”

But here’s the truth nobody wants to say out loud:

Your light bill still needs to be paid.

Your mortgage company doesn’t take “likes.”

Faith without a strategy can leave you burned out and broke.

And in today’s job market? That’s even harder.

Layoffs are up.

Job searches are stretching 6+ months.

Women over 40 are being told they’re “overqualified” or just ignored.

That’s why I preach what I preach on my 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁.
