Choking risks increase once babies start crawling and eating table foods. Little ones explore with their mouths, so it’s important to stay alert. Avoid high-risk foods like whole grapes, hot dogs, nuts, popcorn, and sticky candies unless properly modified. Keep small objects like coins, balloons, and button batteries out of reach. Always supervise meals, have kids sit while eating, and cut food into small pieces. Knowing the signs of choking and how to respond quickly can save a life. ⚠️🍇🌭🎈

A manufacturer recalled nearly 5,000 youth all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) following the death of a 6-year-old boy last year. The recall includes 4,900 Rex110 and Sierra110 youth ATVs manufactured by Lil Pick Up Inc., of Rowland Heights, Calif. The vehicles fail to meet the maximum speed limitations for ATVs intended for kids ages 6 years and older.
