Attention STAFF: Where's all our 90's babies at!?

Thursday, July 24th will be a dress up day! Please wear 90's or NEON attire to go with our NEON 90's party for the residents! There will be a contest for the staff on who has the BEST attire/costume, and for the unit that has the MOST staff dressed up! Come ready to party into the evening at our NEON party from 4-6pm for all of our residents who are in their 90's. All residents are invited to attend! Make this a FUN and EXCITING day, get creative, get crazy, get colorful!!! 🔮🕺🎉🌟

Good Wednesday morning beautiful people!

Today we introduce you to our sweet JoJo. Joanna is a part of the Social Services team, as an Assistant to both of our Social Workers. She has been with Solaris for 3 years. She started out as a floor CNA and transitioned into SSA about 2 years ago. Her favorite thing to do on the weekends is relax and spend the most time there is with her family. One thing about JoJo that we can all agree on is that she doesn't have a mean bone in her body! Her favorite thing about working in LTC is developing relationships with the residents and learning all about them and their past! If you see her around, be sure to tell her HELLO! 💙😁💻🌞

Today, you will be meeting Sharon - Our MDS Coordinator. Sharon has been with us here for about a year and a half now, after returning home from a work related contract in Alaska. She has many years of experience in various nursing roles, but truly found her passion with MDS - where her love for investigation shines. She describes herself as "a nurse by trade, but an investigator at heart." When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and hanging out with her dog - Jesse. She is an outdoor lover and enjoys swimming, tending to her yard or soaking up the sun! 😎🌞🌻🏊🔎👩‍⚕️💙

Happy Wednesday! We're almost through the Fourth of July Week!

Today we are introducing you to Gwen, one of our weekend nurse schedulers. For the past 14 years, Gwen has been a dedicated part of the Solaris Healthcare family. With 44 years of compassion, care, and a contagious smile, she has touch countless lives - patients and coworkers! She says she hopes to be remembered as "the nurse who made everyone smile." You can bet your bottom dollar the first thing she's going to do when she sees you is say, "Hey Sug!" Outside of work she is a proud mom to three (40, 38, 17) and a loving GAGA to two grandkids ages 6 and 8. One thing on her bucket list is a trip to Vegas where she plans to win big - because if anyone deserves a big win, its Gwen! 💲🎰👩‍⚕️💉💙

It's Totally Tuesday!

We would like to introduce you to Candice, our Business Office Manager. Candice has been with Solaris for 4 years now. She started out in HR and moved over to the Business Office after a few years. Her 7 children keep her going - with one granddaughter, one daughter-in-law, and 4 dogs. For hobbies, she enjoys painting, playing darts and spending time with her family. One of her pet peeves is inconsistency, and a fun fact about her is that she enjoys sky diving! She wants all of our staff and residents/families to know that she is passionate about helping them navigate through possibly some of the most difficult situations. 😄☁️🐾🎯💙✏
