🚨 Buyer Beware – Read Before You Click “Free” 🚨

I’m going to say this with love and with experience…

Not all BLS cards are created equal.

If you see ads offering “free” or super low-cost BLS certifications, please look closely at who is issuing the card. Many of these are NOT American Heart Association or American Red Cross certifications.

And here’s the hard truth:
A lot of hospital systems, nursing programs, and healthcare employers do not accept them.

I have personally seen students and healthcare workers spend money on these “deals,” only to find out they have to retake the entire class through AHA or Red Cross to start clinicals or keep their jobs.

That “cheap” card ends up costing you twice.

At RN CPR, we align with nationally recognized organizations for a reason. I will never cut corners on something that impacts your career or your credibility.

And if cost is the reason you’re looking at those options…

Please talk to me first.
Seriously.

If you know me, you know RN CPR has never just been a “business” to me… it’s been a mission.

From day one, Patrick has been right there. Loading up manikins. Setting up classes. Teaching classes. Making silly Tiktok videos. Listening to me brainstorm at 10 PM. Believing in this vision even on the days I was exhausted.

He’s always helped me.
He’s always taught with me.
He’s always supported this dream.

But now… I’m officially putting him right next to me on the admin side of RN CPR.

This is something we have been passionate about together from the beginning. So why not grow it together?

My passion for teaching CPR truly stems from seeing the need in our community.

Every class I teach reminds me why I started RN CPR in the first place. Emergencies don’t care about age, background, or experience — and neither do I. I will teach anyone CPR. Young. Old. Healthcare workers. Parents. Coaches. Babysitters. Grandparents. Because this life-saving skill is something everyone needs to know.

You never know when you might be the difference between life and loss.

2026 is going to be the year I teach even more people CPR. Bigger classes. More outreach. More conversations. And most importantly, creating an environment where people feel safe to ask the questions that scare them.

“What if I do it wrong?”
“What if I break a rib?”
“What if it’s someone I love?”

Ask the questions. Let’s talk through the fear. Let’s practice until confidence replaces hesitation.

Because when the moment comes… confidence saves lives.

Here’s the truth: The American Heart Association requires an in-person skills session for certification — and so do most healthcare employers. That’s where we come in. 🙌

At RN CPR, we offer blended learning classes: You can complete the online portion at your convenience, but you’ll still get hands-on, in-person training that meets AHA standards.

🧠 Ever taken a CPR class and immediately started practicing compressions on your couch, your dog, or a poor, unsuspecting pillow?

No? Just us? 😅

CPR brain is real — once you learn it, you see emergencies everywhere and suddenly you’re the family medic, the grocery store responder, and the designated “I got this” friend.

But hey, better to be over-prepared than not at all, right? 💪
