Take a mindful rest with me 🎨
One of my favorite ways to reset is mindfully painting…just a stone, some paper, and gentle curiosity.
I let the stone guide my pen without control, then fill in the spaces with watercolor (or crayon, marker, etc). No planning, just presence.
Even a few quiet minutes can invite calm, especially for those of us learning to loosen our grip on doing it “just right”.
If any todo list reminders pop up in my head, I jot them down and return to my painting, practicing bringing my attention and intention back to the present moment.
May this gentle practice help you find your way back to the present moment, too. 🌿
