Tonight's Burger battle is one for the history books!

It's cook vs cook vs cook in this 3 way burger battle Extravaganza!!

Chef Jeff is coming in hot with the Big Kahuna, Josh is summoning the luck of the Irish with his corned beef burger and Shayne is doing hula with his Hawaiian Freaky Tiki.

Winner advances to the semi final round. We except a clean fight, no touching spatulas tonight boys.

They're here! Our special this week is a softshell crab sandwich! Tempura battered softshell crab with lettuce, tomato and an Old Bay, lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun. These will sell out fast, so get in here and get one before they're gone.

Its the perfect season to do some baking and share the results, and it seems like its been too long since we shared anything :)

homemade coffee cake:
topping-
1 oz of granulated sugar
1 oz of brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1.5 oz flour
pinch of salt
2 tblspns melted butter

sift all dry ingredients together and simply add melted butter then stir up and set aside.

cake-
2.5 oz flour
1.25 oz granulated sugar
1/8 tsp of baking soda and powder and salt
3 tblspns softened butter
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/6 cup buttermilk
sift together dry ingredients, then add soft butter and mix until course and crumbly. add egg and mix then milk and vanilla last.

pour into a well greased pan and then take the topping mix and crumble into little balls and drop right into the top of the batter.

bake at 400 degrees roughly 18-22 minutes. ENJOY

(serves 2-4)
