Let me properly re-introduce myself. 🐾
I’m Denise and I’m the founder of Fetch This Canine. After nearly 9 years as Head Trainer and Director for a nationwide dog training company, I realized I wanted to do more than just teach obedience. I wanted to create a program that honors dogs as whole beings; physically, emotionally, and behaviorally.
In early 2025, I set out to build Fetch This Canine. What makes my approach truly one-of-a-kind is that it combines traditional behavior training with my certifications as a Holistic Pet Health Coach, Canine Nutritionist, Bodywork Practitioner, and Energy Healer. Very few trainers bring this level of education to every dog they work with, and even fewer integrate it into a behavior program.
I see dogs differently. I don’t just focus on the behaviors you notice, I look at what’s happening underneath. Stress, discomfort, nutrition, and emotional balance all influence behavior. By addressing your dog’s whole system, I create programs that support lasting change, not just temporary obedience.
Caring for your dog’s well-being is at the heart of everything I do. That means I don’t push over-vaccination, overwork dogs to get fast results, or overlook the essential bond between dog and human. Every program is customized to your dog’s body, temperament, lifestyle, and emotional needs, so they feel confident, comfortable, and supported every step of the way.
This integrative, holistic approach is rare in the industry. My work is designed to give your dog the tools to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally, while building trust, connection, and reliability that lasts a lifetime.
