I tell people all the time it is OK to ask for help because we all need help sometimes! Asking is never easy and sometimes embarrassing, but at some point in our lives we do it and if we don't, we should! Helping each other, weather friends, family or strangers is the best gift we can give to someone and it could literally change the lives of those people!

A fellow member of this group is in need of this help, she has swallowed her pride and reached out! Her family has endured a lot over the years, from major surgeries, to loss of a pet, cancer and even death! Please concider helping them get through this next hurdle with grace!

The holiday's are a hard, emotional time of year for many, but sometimes we are blind to what others are feeling or they put up a wall of happiness on the outside for others to see while they suffer in the darkness alone on the inside!

Over the past 2 weeks locally there have been four su***des of people I knew but possibly more of those I don't. For many, we don't understand why someone chooses this option but for them it's the only one. It's the only thing they believe can end their pain forever, and it does, but unfortunately that pain does not go away, it is transfered to the ones they love!

So please, if you or anyone you know is suffering reach out for help, there is no shame in needing a helping hand! If anyone you know has recently committed su***de please reach out to their families with love and hope as the pain once felt by their loved one is now their burden to carry as they figure out the why's and they carry this on top of the pain felt from losing them!
