Never in my life have I smelled the flower of a lime. I wish the screen was scratch-and-sniff for you! It’s smells like a heavenly perfume rivaling that of the night blooming cereus cactus. DIVINE ✨

Over a decade ago we quit chopping down plants at the end of the growing season. I learned that my “fall cleanup” was a detriment to wildlife.

By leaving behind the dead stem and flower tops, we are providing shelter and food to birds, critters and insects.
🌿
Did you know that snow works to insulate the soil? Covering the soil in a winter blanket, protecting from extreme cold, preventing deep frost, and supporting the survival of microbes.
🌿
When I shovel, I toss the snow onto the perennial beds, creating a thicker comforter to support the soil, along with the flora and fauna🌿😉

In just a few short weeks, we will gather at for our annual Winter Wellness Workshop

On Sunday, November 9th join in on the medicine making fun. Everyone will be creating their own tea blend, fire cider and dream pillow.

I know that this has become a seasonal tradition for many, so I decided to add an extra little offering. Come see what we are going to create with our white pine needles and spice bush berries to support our health through the winter months.
