Hey everyone
We had an emergency last night and ended up at TMH with my youngest son. We are still here and kason is being prepped for surgery to have his appendix removed. I’m going to have to cancel classes for this week and will resume back to normal classes next week.

I strongly believe that true progress in yoga comes from breaking poses down and giving yourself time to build flexibility and strength. Yoga is about peace of mind and relaxation—but real progress happens through patience and baby steps.

I’ve seen beginners jump straight into fast-paced, flowing classes where the teacher moves from pose to pose. It’s easy to feel lost and discouraged in that environment.

That’s why I like to slow things down. I take the time to guide students into each pose, teach proper alignment, and train the body to hold poses safely. As your body gradually adjusts, strength and confidence build naturally.

Then, when you’re ready to explore a faster Vinyasa-style flow, you’ll have the stepping stones to get there—strong, grounded, and confident in your practice. ✨🧘‍♀️

✨ My Yoga Style – Hatha Yoga ✨

In my classes, I teach Hatha Yoga, which is a slower-paced, foundational style of yoga. This means we move with intention, take our time, and hold poses for several breaths rather than rushing from one pose to the next.

What to expect in my classes:
• Slow & steady pace – perfect for beginners
• Holding poses for about 5–10 breaths to build strength, flexibility, and balance
• A focus on connecting the body and mind, not perfection

Common poses you’ll see:
Mountain Pose, Tree Pose, Triangle Pose, Warrior II, Cobra
(Don’t worry — I explain each pose and offer options 💛)

Class flow:
We start by grounding and centering, move into gentle warm-ups, standing poses, and seated or lying stretches, and finish with Savasana (rest and relaxation).

Breathing:
Breath is guided throughout class — inhaling to lift or expand, exhaling to soften and deepen the pose.

This style is very beginner-friendly, supportive, and focused on listening to your body. You don’t need to be flexible or experienced — just come as you are. 🌿
