In honor of black history month, I'd like to shed light on a very amazing woman!

Meisha Wood was born May 13, 1982 in Petersburg Virginia. She is the youngest of her parent's 3 kids. She went on to be the first of the 3 to graduate high school and attend college. Although she didn't finish college, she has made quite an impact in this world!

After working countless corporate jobs, she decided to start her own business and become a yoga teacher. During this time she has become the first yoga teacher to enter the doors at the Petersburg Police Department, the Petersburg Federal Bureau of Prisons, and a local psychiatric hospital.

Her goal is to get into places where she feels she is most needed. What's next for this amazing woman? Stay tuned and see!! I am she. She is me!!!

Most of the time when you're feeling stressed, it comes from constantly being in your head, thinking about something unpleasant. The body's natural reaction is to tense up. This causes headaches, high blood pressure, and other medical problems. When you're experiencing this, it can also cause you to not get enough oxygen in your body. Sit for about 10-15 minutes and consciously take in full breaths 👌🏽

A spiritual awakening isn't something you can fake your way through. No. It's too real for that. It forces you to detach from people, places and things you never thought you'd have to. It forces you to take a deep look inside yourself. It will strip you naked until gratitude is all you have left. Once you realize gratitude is the way, true inner peace can be felt 🧘🏾‍♀️
