I have been a yoga instructor consistently since 2004, I have taught in Germany, Italy, and around the Austin, Texas area While overseas I was teaching on military bases in the fitness center to soldiers, family members and civilians. In Austin, I primarily taught through my job at Texas Department of Public Safety at the State Trooper Training Academy and to State Employees at multiple state agencies twice a week in the capitol complex. Currently, I teach a weekly class to the Pflugerville Police Department's Command Staff and Training Cadets. I believe yoga is for every BODY and work hard to make my teaching accessible to all experience and skill levels. I enjoy challenging participants to stretch their boundaries, embrace being uncomfortable, and "go to their edge" to build resilience. Here is a summary of my education, certifications, and yoga training:

Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from CUP '09

My yoga teaching style has also been influenced by intensive workshops with Sianna Sherman, Marc Holzman, Neesha Zollinger, Desiree Rumbaugh. John Friend, and Noah Maze. My most recent yoga accomplishment was becoming a Yoga for Firsts Responders (YFFR) Ambassador.
