Dr. Elizabeth Chavez-Palacios has provided mental health services in the South Texas region since 2007. She has been supervising individuals in their clinical experiences since 2013. She also has several certifications that target very specific populations, such as CRC (rehabilitation counseling/vocational rehabilitation), CCMC (military counseling) and CCTP (trauma counseling). Her experience varies from working with children and youth/adolescents with ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder and substance use disorders to adults with bipolar disorder, anxiety and mood disorders. She has worked with both youth and adults in the criminal justice system (i.e. community supervision, parole) and those involved with social services (i.e. DFPS/CPS). Additionally, she provides services for individuals, families and/or couples with varying mental/behavioral health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders.
