This week's theme was ocean! Elevated a simple craft by putting the target words in this ocean themed sensory bin for the kids to find! We alternated fishing for the animals and playing with the pull toys with finding and practicing the words 🦈🦀🐠🐡

Guess the theme this week!? 😜🦕

How do we use these?

🦕 Put mini objects that have the targeted sound inside the dinosaur eggs and hide them around the room! When they open them, we practice the words.

🦕 Say a few trials, then stack a few dinos! How high can you go?

🦕 Open ended play with the dino truck to work on language:
-verbs: open up the skeleton bones!
-prepositions: put the dinosaurs in and take them out
-pronouns:he/she/they go in the truck. His/her/their rock

🦕 Memory- try to find two dinosaurs that match!

We raced to 50 trials this week with a flair of summer ☀️ Mini objects are always a hit, and I hid them in plastic ice cream cones for an extra surprise element! 🦀 🐚 Everytime they said a word, they covered a picture with a mini object. Simple and fun!
