Women with ADHD: Building Business Our Way

The systems we've inherited for work, hustle, and "grinding" weren't designed with ADHD brains in mind. And let's be honest—they weren't created with Black women at the table either.

As a Black business owner navigating ADHD, you've likely experienced:
- That overwhelming flood of ideas with no clear starting point
- The constant motion that somehow doesn't translate to meaningful progress
- The exhaustion of pushing yourself harder while still feeling like you're falling behind

Here's what I've learned: This isn't about needing more discipline. It's about recognizing that we need entirely different systems.

Our ADHD brains crave flexibility, thrive on urgency, and naturally generate creativity—these are strengths when properly channeled.

True wealth-building happens through community support and strategic thinking, not isolation.

And sustainable success comes from working in alignment with your brain's wiring, not constantly fighting against it.

I'm bringing this crucial conversation to The Shift Collective Summit on March 13 & 16. We'll explore how Black women entrepreneurs with ADHD can stop contorting ourselves to fit systems that weren't built for us—and instead create pathways to lasting wealth that honor how we actually function.

If traditional business advice feels like it's speaking a different language than your brain understands—you're not alone. Let's talk about what genuinely works for us.
