In June, we will have a great group of students gathering for our advanced course, Connective Tissue Release 1 – the Hugh Gilbert Method™. This course focuses on enhancing mobility, improving alignment, and supporting the body’s natural healing process. You will receive training in accessing planes of fascia not usually addressed in traditional connective tissue release work. The CTR series empowers practitioners to elevate their practice with unique, results-driven techniques only available from KCR Academy Certified Trainers.

Completion of both the Kinetic Chain Release Protocol and Introduction to Connective Tissue courses are required to register. Let’s celebrate the uniqueness and impeccable lineage of KCR, its creator, and our team. Hugh Gilbert was a highly qualified physiotherapist for over 4 decades. He spent 15 years of post-graduate work developing a sequence of medically accepted techniques to bring the body back into balance. Hugh worked on the interconnectedness of body systems well before it became mainstream. While KCR may seem like a new protocol, this work and all our courses are well established in Scotland/UK. It is only in recent years that we have a team of amazing teachers and practitioners internationally, and we are growing rapidly.

I am the KCR Representative here in the U.S. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with a B.S. and M. Ed in Education. In 2016, I received my KCR training directly from Hugh and have been practicing it ever since. It is my goal to deliver courses that are a meaningful and transformative experience for you.

There are several opportunities in the fall to learn the KCR protocol, the first course on our Pathway to Bodywork Mastery. Our courses are NCBTMB approved, and each one is already filling up. I had the honor of being a part of the KCR Masters Gathering in Hawaii. I spent a good part of 2 weeks learning from some of the most amazing teachers imparting the wisdom of the Aloha Spirit…. a journey that ultimately leads us back to our heart.

Our group consisted of people from many parts of the world and all different backgrounds. We all made the long journey to be here together, most of us not knowing each other before this experience. This group embodied “oneness”, the state of knowing that we are not separate from each other, and all connected with open hearts…. a state that is always available for humanity when one chooses. As we each return to our specific locations, that connection will always be present.

A lot of this knowledge and energy is woven throughout our Pathway to Bodywork Mastery courses. One of the very first things that I share with students is how each course is more than a class, it’s an experience. Whether or not you are a bodywork professional, our program can be the start of a unique journey that ultimately leads you back to yourself and your own heart.

Registration is open for all 2025 courses on our Pathway to Bodywork Mastery. Our courses are not just about techniques. They are an experience….an experience of self-discovery and skill building that can be transformative for you as well as your clients.

The first course on our Pathway is KCR Protocol Level 1, where you are taught a powerful tool to bring the body into balance. KCR is followed by Introduction to Connective Tissue, where we take you on a journey of awareness through your own connective tissue system as well as others. Our advanced courses, CTR1, CTR2, and Advanced Postural Energetics, deepen your skills and include specific techniques to release connective tissue.

You may come across one of the many students who have taken our courses. Ask them about their experience, and how it has impacted their lives. When you take the Pathway to Bodywork Mastery, you also become part of a heart-centered community, changing lives one body at a time.
