Anger is an emotion most of us work to suppress. However, it can be the first step towards healing and deciding we have worth. Anger is an emotion to be honored just as any other. For some of us, it is the first time we decide something "wasn't right" and that we deserved more.

After experiencing trauma, we often feel apologetic for how we show up in the world because of a hijacked nervous system & internalized shame.

The irony is no one asked our permission before harming us, therefore we do not need permission to show up as we are & heal as we see fit.
