Deeply influenced by his 14-year practice of martial arts, meditation, and Qigong, Mariko blends classical acupuncture theory with modern sports acupuncture to treat pain, injuries and general systemic disorders. Mariko specializes in the use of myofascial trigger point needling (dry needling) and orthopedic acupuncture. Mariko will work with you to create balance within the meridian and musculoskeletal systems in order to generate healing and build internal resilience. Mariko is board certified by the National Certification Committee for Acupuncture and is licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine. from Oberlin College and Masters in Education at Hunter College in New York City.
