❤️ Saving Lives, Together ❤️
At the close of the 2024 swim season, a Langhorne Swim Club member experienced a medical emergency. Thankfully, they survived — but the incident made one thing clear: having an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on-site can save lives.
When Swim Club President Tim Stanford reached out for help, Langhorne Rotary jumped into action. Thanks to the generosity of Frank & Kelly Boyle of Allegiance CPR and Training (https://www.allegiancecpr.com/) we secured an AED at a reduced cost — a piece of equipment worth over $3,000!
This life-saving device will be ready poolside during swim season and shared with the Irish Rover Station House in the off-season, where our club meets. Best of all, all Langhorne Swim Club lifeguards are AED-trained.
💙 This is community in action — neighbors helping neighbors, and everyone safer because of it. 💙
