At Babies on the Main Line, we see how crucial it is to have a postpartum plan.

Exceptional care isn't just a luxury. It's a necessity.

Our team supports a limited amount of families each month to ensure every mom, dad, and baby receive an individualized plan for the postpartum period.

For some, care looks like 6 weeks of support.
For many, care is 12+ weeks of support.

No matter the length of time, our doulas are prepared to formulate a plan, and help accomplish it.

When helping clients prepare for birth physically:

▫️We teach comfort techniques for the unmedicated parts of labor.
▫️We review positional changes that can help with labor duration or suspected positional issues with baby.
▫️And we always encourage the importance of mobility, mobility, mobility!

But we frequently notice that the mental part of labor can cloud the entire experience....

Because in our mind is where doubts become fears - and our fears can become emotional blocks 🚫

In your mind is where you can grow anxiety, but it's also where confidence is built.

▫️Remind yourself that your body knows what to do.
▫️Your body is capable.
▫️Speak life over your pregnancy and labor.

And surround yourself with supportive people that will speak the same over you and your baby 🪻
