It’s not a good idea to stress over movement perfection. It can create an unhealthy relationship to just getting out there and moving. However, understanding our patterns and having different strategies for how we move our bodies creates unlimited potential for health in the future.
In order to protect ourselves from injuries down the line, awareness is necessary. Don’t beat ourselves up if we didn’t do things absolutely perfectly, however also be aware of our tendencies to move. Is there a certain pattern that causes us pain? Chances are you are falling into the latter category and some new movement strategies are in order.
