I been gone for a bit I know. I been working, adjusting to a new environment and celebrating this summer.
But I am back!

In 2020 as the world was halted, I had some really dope ideas. Some of them I worked on and achieved, some I worked on and put on hold and some never came to fruition.

One of them was an adult coloring book with journal prompts. I wanted the images to represent girls/ women like me. I reached out to a talented artist who I grew up with to help me bring my visions to life.

Over the last couple years I worked on this project off and on. For some reason I just could not find the words that felt right. Finishing and executing this project was filled with imposter syndrome, anxiety, creative blocks, frustration personal struggles and many many talks with God .

Once it was complete I then began to get stuck on when was the right time to drop it, how should I promote it, would it be received. Today I decided that there is no better time than the present. So today I present to you

I woke up and caught the sunrise this morning. I took sometime to just reflect and process my thoughts.
I am still adjusting to the newness of my environment and giving myself grace while I find my routine. Some days I wake up and I can’t believe this is my life. I dreamed this so many days.
Some days I feel challenged by the safety of everything I’ve known for the last 17 yrs being gone.
Both days I am grateful!
Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is letting go of the dream long enough to live in the reality.
Life is good!!! GOD is good!
