Okay, simmer down folks.

Personally, when I get targeted by an ad or post & get curious, the first thing I'm doing is scrolling through the feed. If that doesn't answer my questions, I'll go to that link in their bio.

That said, I certainly don't mind interacting and answering questions if they're truly coming from a place of curiosity and earnestness.

However, some folks seem to just want to chat or troll, and will gladly eat away at your day if you allow it.

I've got to protect my time and my peace, because as a born helper, I'll engage with someone for hours, even over days, letting them tell their story or pick my brain.

Do you have your doctor's cell number or engage with your provider on a random back-and-forth unpaid session to get answers?

No. You make an appointment. You usually wait longer than you want to be seen. And you're usually seen for far less time than you wanted.

Why would it be ok to engage with a service provider of any sort beyond what is necessary to ascertain if you want to hire them?

If you've been hitting up practitioners you haven't paid with questions & advice, they've been really kind by responding with anything more than a payment link.

The thing is, I provide a valuable service, and it does involve getting to know people on a deeper level...Something most doctors or functional medicine practitioners don't have the time or inclination to do.

But, that's part of what is involved when you contract with me.

I'll give you my genuine attention, dig through the deepest layers (over time), & figure out what areas of your life, body, environment, behavior, habits, emotional patterns, and limiting beliefs could use some tweaking.

Yes, all of that.

Maybe you only need guidance in one area, though.

The process is intuitive and empathetic.

I actually care.

HTMA is not necessary, but can be REALLY helpful.

It's a physical anchor for a holistic revamping.

Reiki energy healing is always part of what I do. We don't need to be in the same room physically--Time, matter, & space are literally transcended.

This family went through horrors at Mayo clinic when they found out their surgeon was never really their surgeon...

Requesting records SHOULDN’T require a course in high school or college, be we learned the hard way that current set ups don’t always enable access without it.

We’re working to change things and are here for you until those changes are made.

The next few days, we’ll be giving tips for requesting records. This will not only help all of you, but give Mayo, Minnesota and our Federal Government some time to work together with us off their back!

P.S. We heard from Mayo today about Jack's records being stored out of the country. They have put in writing his records have not been stored out of the country and that there is no plan for them to be. I'll have to follow up with them regarding a word change, as "stored" is different from "accessible." I asked about storage, not accessibility. My fault there. I'll follow up when I hear back with their answer.

SEMANTICS.

I'm telling you, so many things come down to semantics. It's been a hard lesson to learn.

This came across my feed. I'm sure we've all seen inspirational posts that make us stop and think, and some we don't allow to pe*****te our consciousness.

We're bombarded with lots of negativity today, but your algorithm will always feed you that with which you resonate right now.

And I'm not just talking about your social media feed.

Your entire reality works this way. Energy flows where attention goes....

What are you clicking on and what are your scrolling past? On your screens and in your mind?

If you have unacknowledged fear, it will wield its power over you in every area of your life that you allow it to take hold, and it first claims your thoughts, hijacking your awareness and turning it against you.

Notice how you are moving through your life and the thoughts that come through.

What feelings are a reaction to those thoughts?

Pay close attention to your visceral reactions to people. To THEIR reactions. To world events.

If it is causing you distress, or strife, or any unpleasant feeling at all, see that as a call to action.

That emotional reaction is coming from you. Not from those external sources. It originates from the multitude of experiences in your life that have informed your entire character and personality.

That's why you and I will react differently to the same thing.

We're all human and we're all afraid of something... Confrontation, embarrassment, being devalued, feeling unloved, losing our possessions, losing loved ones, failure, success, illness, death...

The challenge is not in attempting to eliminate the fear but to unearth whatever wounds caused the fear in the first place.

And then question.

Question the beliefs that dictate your every day choices. Were they passed down to you from parents or authority figures that you took for truth and integrated into your being?

Do they still make sense for you and your life? Were they ever truly rooted in a truth that resonates with the best version of yourself?

Read these statements and really let them sink in.

Are you truly living your life or are you living what you think life is supposed to be?

With over 15 years of personal training and professional fitness experience, I offer my services locally in Richmond Va to in-home clientele and in my home studio. Additionally, I am available for distance training via video call! I cater to all ages, body types and fitness levels, but specialize in corrective exercise, pre-/postpartum fitness and bridging the transition from physical therapy into a strength routine.

My other areas of expertise and interest include barefoot running and training, fat loss and balance training. Whatever your goals and current fitness experience, my mission is to help you to connect with your body and make healthy movement a permanent part of your life.
