Here are simple, everyday ways to help your little learner build early letter recognition:

✅ Start with Their Name
Children LOVE seeing and hearing their own name. It’s the perfect way to introduce letters and begin spelling practice.

✅ Use Familiar Words
Words like “Mom” and “Dad” are heard daily, making them easy anchor words for recognizing letters and sounds.

✅ Try Pet or Stuffed Animal Names
No pet? No problem! Use the names of their favorite stuffed animals to make learning personal and fun.

🌿 Mindful Monday 🌿
Educators, your creativity is what makes the classroom come alive. When you bring fresh ideas, hands-on activities, or new approaches to learning, you create experiences that your students will carry with them far beyond the lesson plan. But here’s the reminder—every lesson doesn’t have to go exactly as planned to be meaningful.

Give yourself grace if you don’t finish every activity, if the discussion takes longer than expected, or if the day simply unfolds differently. Sometimes the best learning moments happen in the unscripted spaces—when curiosity takes over, or when your students surprise you with their own creativity.
