It's Thankful Thursday! Yes, I know. Not very original. But I really am thankful and wanted to share it!

As I was hiking this morning I was overcome with this feeling of gratitude. I am so grateful that I was able to move from Philadelphia to Phoenix and do what I love to do, hike.

Then I realized that if I was still eating the way I used to; binge eating, emotional eating and all the processed and junk foods I used to eat there is no way I would be able to hike like this. Not only was I over weight, but I also had no energy or motivation to do anything.

Eating clean, whole, unprocessed foods has been a game changer for me in every area of my life. I now have more energy to do what I love, run my business and live my life.

I am so excited to announce that I recently added a great tool to my coaching practice that gets people off the sugar roller coaster and away from yo-yo dieting for good. It feels so good to have a tool for people that is easy and more importantly that works!

In fact, I’ve decided to give myself a challenge to honor my newfound clarity. I’m so excited to share this that I have given myself a goal to give away 20 free coaching sessions in 20 days.

If I’m being honest, it feels a bit daunting. But I am excited to rise to the occasion so I can truly be of service to as many people as possible.

Here’s where you come in… I’m writing to ask you to help me meet my challenge.

Can you think of 2-3 people whom you feel would really benefit from a coaching session with me? And, if you can, how open would you be to sharing an invitation to a free session with them?

I’m really good at helping motivated, determined people learn to live a healthy lifestyle, make informed choices about food that is free from calorie counting, constant hunger and still enjoy dessert! I also help people feel good from the inside out without going on a diet.

With a custom approach to lose weight, they feel more energized with something that they can stick with for the long haul.

So, if you know anyone who you think I could help and you’re open to sharing a free session invitation with them, please let me know and I’ll send you some easy cut and paste language you can forward to them.
And of course, if you’re not into it, no sweat. Please just let me know that, too.

Oh man! I don't know about you but I am sooooo ready for Spring! We have had ENOUGH snow here in Philly!!!
So let's get motivated!! What are you motivated to do when the snow is gone and the flowers start to bloom and the leaves on the trees start coming back? I love spring mornings! It smells so fresh and new. It makes me want to get up and take a nice long walk with my dog before the day really get started.
Think about what your motivations are. Do you get lazy and put them on the back burner, push them further and further down your list of things you want to do? And then before you know it, you haven't done any of the things that you were once so motivated to do.
Join my 5 Day Motivation Challenge beginning March 8th. We'll take a look at what motivates you, why it's so important to you and ways not to give them up when you get bored or tired. It doesn't even have to be related to health or weight loss. Maybe you want to quit smoking or look for a new job or work on a relationship or plant a garden or learn something new. The Butterfly... I recently met a woman who has high aspirations for her life. We share a passion and purpose for what we believe we can give back to our communities, our friends and family, and to a wider audience. While we both have different focuses, when I met her I knew right away that we’d be fast friends. Little did I know that we’d come to quickly jive, laugh, collaborate, and lift each other up with our confidences in one another.

It’s relationships like these that are rare and exceptionally special. They want the best for you as much as you do for them.

In her business, her logo contains butterflies. For her, and for what she helps people become, the butterfly represents transformation. She has transformed what could have been a detrimental, unhealthy life to a lifestyle that is now transformed into someone who is healthy, thriving, and her authentic self. One that is easily sustained with her own self love and empowerment.

Having her in my life has been a welcomed surprise. I’m looking forward to watching her successes and all the butterflies that transform from her cocoon of guidance, comfort, and empowerment.

A request to my faithful tribe. This past year definitely was the year for “not normal”. I’ve seen so much good along with so much bad. Sadness, fear, birth, death, new awakenings, new beginnings, etc. Truth be told, I almost lost myself this year. Luckily, I didn’t. I want to ensure any of you that find yourself feeling a similar way, I hear you. I see you. My outlook on life has done a 180 and I'm making some changes in my coaching business. I am conducting a small market research study and am looking for volunteers to engage with me to receive feedback about my business. Ideally, you’ve been struggling with your weight, overeating, binge eating and find yourself eating when you aren't even hungry or have recently decided you want to take a deeper look at how your eating may be affecting your life and your health. You may also realize the need to rediscover your authentic self, that "thing" that sets your soul on fire (did you even notice it was missing?). If this sounds like you and you would be willing to spend a short amount of time with me to ensure I’m on the right track, I would greatly appreciate it.
