Freedom House Recovery "Life will take on a new meaning..." Established in 1999, by Helen Maloney to provide women an opportunity to re-write their futures.

A confidential, no-nonsense program for women serious about twelve step recovery. Program Philosophy:
Freedom House provides clean and safe environment for women seeking recovery. In addition, we teach the recovering addict and alcoholic how to live clean and sober while maintaining their support systems. Program Goals:
Freedom house is dedicated to the overall well being of each resident, our goal is to assiste the individual in becoming responsible, productive members of society, we do this by teaching them how to ask for help from their peers, as well as to use other resources and to develop strong coping skills through a foundation of recovery utilizing a 12-step groups for support. Program Specifics:
-houses hold 10-11 people maximum
-$50 (intake fee-one time fee)
-$140/ week
-bi-weekly certified addictions counselor session included in rent.
-rent also includes utilities and 4 meals each week.
-there is a two week blackout/ probationary period

Residential Requirements:
-maintain clean sober life for duration of stay.
-90/90: make 90 meetings for the first 90 days, and then five 12-step meetings per week.
-acquire employment after two weeks from arrival.
-submit to random drug testing as requested
-take 12-step program commitments
-do daily and weekly chores, including cooking.
-taking approved prescribed medications
-if driving, must provide legal license, registration and auto insurance information.
