Creatine isn’t just for gains — it’s for your brain.

Brain fog? Forgetfulness? Low mental stamina?
It’s not always stress or age — sometimes it’s a creatine deficit.

A 2024 meta-analysis showed creatine improves memory, focus, and processing speed — especially in women, those under stress, and anyone eating less red meat.

Here’s what I recommend:
10g creatine monohydrate daily.
Split into 5g pre-workout + 5g post-workout — or take it with a high-carb + sodium meal to spike insulin and help shuttle it into cells.

Creatine works best when your system is primed for absorption — think intra-cellular hydration + insulin response.

It’s cheap. It’s safe. And it fuels your brain, muscles, and mitochondria.

This is a non-negotiable in my world.

🔥11 years, 20lbs of muscle🔥coaches must walk the walk. I preach consistency and longevity and officially 20 years in this game here are my biggest take aways.

1. Focus on Protein and water. Really thats it. I hit my protein and water amounts everyday and luckily I know a thing or two about nutrition….

2. Prioritize Sleep : growth and repair happens during REM. Get a sleep routine and stick to it despite your friends busting your chops.

3. Hydrate : I drink 100-120oz a day

4. Bodywork: I do my own trigger point work but lucky to have .sports.chiropractic who has been my long time go-to do

5. Learn Skills AKA Non-Gym Sessions: this means don’t think of your body needing a gym. Play. Go ride a bike, get into a sport or just learn how to play with new tools

6. Get a coach: I hire a fitness coach to train me in a particular area of interest every year. Its paid dividends in both my body and career.

7. Consistency beats Intensity: Habits are all about the little wins. My workouts are boring . I do 3 exercises for like an hour and hammer form and breath.

Its taken me a decade plus to add slabs of muscle. I maybe gained 1.5lbs a year and a 1/4 inch. Remember, time is the compound interest of health.

Sometimes the dose is a kettlebell joint session.

Sometimes the RX is a gallon of water a day with specific nutrients.

One thing is always consistent to be foreverstrong-

My habits and routines.

The outcome is always to be forever strong.

To be forever strong I have to sleep, eat, and meditate. Strength in the mind and heart are also done with deep personal work, and yes that includes therapy.

I was obsessed with how fighters cut weight. That obsession hasn’t really changed and I still love the fight scenes and the nutritional applications to the sport.

🔥The Return of The Elixir🔥 the final chapter of the heros journey is one the lead character returns with the healing elixir.

After responding to the call to action and push through the threshold only to be cast into the abyss.

A place where you face your worst fears. Its when the knight slays the dragon. Its when the princess finds she is really a queen.

Its where you accept yourself.

From the cavern of the abyss you crawl out. Bloody. Wounded but with an entirely different perspective of self.

Your allies are known. You know who gave you the sword in the moment of death. You know who provided you a shelter from the fire and a shield to march onward.

From the cavern brazen and nearly dead your heartbeat slows, and death never felt so calming and cavalier.

Sword in hand. Shield on your back, you come back AS the elixir.

You roll over. Open your eyes and take your first breath in reincarnation. The air. The sun its all an overwhelming beauty.

Marching slowly back to civilization and with a renewed sense of purpose your eyes laser focus. Muscles pumped, veins full.

Chest and chin tall you walk into the light, as you bask in atonement.

The return.

The final step.

The return from a life that was but a dream.

The final step is now.
