Our Story
I discovered this practice after struggling on my own to be “a good enough parent” . Feeling anxious and constantly comparing myself to others for many years, feeling as though everyone was doing a much better job at handling this parenting thing than I was, I decided after must struggle -- to embark on some inner work. I started with yoga and then found my way to mindfulness. Mindfulness has led me on an beautiful journey of self-discovery and healing that has opened amazing doors for me. The idea of learning to paying attention was something foreign to me. I did not realize that these were skills that could be taught and that once taught we get to choose where our attention goes. What I noticed was that my thoughts were constantly going to , “ I can always to better” which meant I was never good enough. I believed my thoughts were who I was.
So I immersed myself in the journey, full court press, I have never looked back. I have grown tremendously in the last 10 years and I am so grateful for all my teachers and students who have supported me in this work.
In the past 10 years, I have taught over 5,000 students and adults in schools, churches, organizations across Eastern Pa and Delaware and in my office in Fort Washington.
Teaching stress management skills in this unprecedented time of Covid 19 and Black Lives Matter, #Metoo feels like a blessing for me and some way to help the community heal.
