Dear 340 Wolf St,
It’s with great sadness and hesitant excitement that we walk out of your door one last time. You provided our family such joy, laughter, sadness, isolation, fear, pleasure, pain, and growth in the past 8 years.
We began our journey in these walls, Steve and I newly married, and freshly aware we would become parents in just about nine months. The walls were painted, we filled the rooms with a mixture of our decorations from our apartment + the hand-me-downs from our families homes. We bought a new couch, a new bed, and we felt like real ass adults.
We didn’t know anything about owning a home + you gave us space to get acclimated before the first drops of leaks fell + plumbing backed up. You allowed us the opportunity to file insurance claims, deal with sh*tty contractors, and nosey neighbors. You taught us about adulting + the sacrifice our parents endured while raising us as children.
And you welcome the most special light in our lives, Jack Henry Zales. You provided warmth on the cold nights while I stood staring out the windows at 3am, a body bearing the depths of new motherhood. You let my tears fall on your floor as I figured out how to feed my son, and navigate the scariest and most rewarding thing I have ever done.
340, you allowed our family to grow together. You provided the land for Jack to have all his firsts, with memories filling every inch of your space. Jack learned what it felt like to be loved and to love here, and that is the most special thing we could ever be blessed with.
Thank you for providing the sweetest community for us, with the best neighbors and a lifetime of friends. We are so grateful for your acceptance and love.
We are so sad to leave you + we hope we’ve chosen a good family to take our place.
Thank you for all the things, for all the love, we will miss you tremendously.

A special thanks to +
