The Multi Faith Coalition in partnership with Laurel House was pleased to host the Journey to Freedom and Safety event on April 17! The event featured survivor stories of domestic abuse with Rachel Baldi and Tia May, legal navigation with Gabriella Glenning, spiritual perspectives and navigation with Sunni Epstein and Terri Leone, and clinical perspectives from Noel Hopson, Ashe Zink and Cortney Marengo. Faith leaders and community members were left with tools and resources to support and show up for those facing domestic abuse in their communities. We are continuing this series across Montgomery County.

East Stroudsburg had a phenomenal guest speaker today. Julia (who was accompanied by her daughter Sophia) came to teach us about plants and photosynthesis. She brought us coloring pages for Earth Day and helped us plant fruit and vegetable seeds for starter pots. She has graciously offered to purchase us plants and help us at our community garden plots! Thanks Julia and Sophia!
