Today, I had the honor of speaking to administrative professionals in the independent school community, and I’m still sitting with a WOW moment.
Doing what I do best as a coach means knowing my purpose is to lift others up, even in seasons when you’re tired, not feeling well, or quietly wondering if God is thinking about you at all. And yet, there are moments when some may try to tear you down. Vision teaches you to keep moving anyway.
There are times when the work feels unseen. When growth feels more like survival than momentum. When your body is tired and your spirit feels heavy. You question whether your voice matters beyond your role, your title, your desk.
And then, when you least expect it, your voice rises in alignment with God’s plan. You find yourself participating. You find yourself standing in a space that is on a national level, using your lived experience to empower others.
That’s when it becomes clear: God never forgot you.
Coaching has taught me that purpose doesn’t require permission, and vision doesn’t depend on applause. When you know who you are, whose you are, and why you’re here, you don’t move based on noise you move based on calling.
To my fellow administrative professionals:
* Your work matters!
* Your voice matters!
* Your presence matters!
If God is nudging you to move then darnit, move. If an opportunity shows up that feels bigger than you then say yes. If your light makes others uncomfortable, DON’T dim it!
Stay humble. Stay grounded. Keep watching God work. And when it’s time to step forward—don’t look back.
Your WOW moment may be closer than you think!
