Super Soul-care Sunday 🌱
What have done this far to pour into your soul this weekend?
I’ll go first, after hosting a beautiful Healing Hike for my I treated myself to a lovely and long overdue massage (Thank you Sarah for sending me into another world 🥰) followed by a self-love experience curated by my love including reiki, mediation and soundbath. Let’s just say I slept until almost 10 today & continuing to move slow and relax.
🌱 No matter how big or small I hope that you gave yourself some soul-care.

Healing the Black Heart: Identify the Essentials, Eliminate the Rest !!!
•Tomorrow, Wednesday 10.7 6-7:30 pm, join a group of melanated queens as we release & connect. We meet virtually to tackle current emotions, experiences & issues we are currently facing with some guiding tools such as breath work, meditation, journaling, mindful movement & resources.
•This week’s special guest, , is a self-published author, spoken word poet, & self-wellness enthusiast. Chántelle writes for black women to feel their embedded emotions when they’re too busy carrying everyone else’s.

Discover more in her debut memoir entitled “My Soul Told On Me” a collection of essays that address issue such as: colorism, self-identity, mental health, family and ancestral history as it applies to black womanhood!

As a token of my support, each attendee will be entered to win a copy of My Soul Told On Me!

Time for another Self-care Awareness month Spotlight on ✌🏾 spaces that happen to be woman owned!
—> Started my Saturday with my favorite girl This studio offers spin, barre & sculpt classes with mindful intentions & energy. Something we truly need and what’s missing in the wellness scene imo ✔️
—> Finished my ride and hit I was greeted by 2 bubbly personalities who assisted me in my juice choice based off the needs I expressed. To top it off I was gifted with this tasty Sweet Revenge shot to boost my immunity.

Progression over perfection.
•This month I’ve been focusing on waking up at 5/5:30am (yesterday was 4:30am to get to 5:45 spin class 😅). For me it’s about having me time, getting the most out of my day before I start work and begin to be pulled in multiple directions.
•This week my routine consists of warm lemon water (more on those benefits on another post), my devotions, reciting affirmations and movement.
••Today’s movement choice was yogalates. This specific workout video used to be relatively easy for me, but months and months out of practice I found myself tighter, a little wobbly and drippin sweat but I made it thru by sticking it out and believing these 48 minutes won’t last foeva 😆
I feel lighter, stronger, at ease and grateful.
🌞 How you feelin today? What did you do for yourself before the world came knocking on your door this morning? After all it is selfcare awareness month 🤎
