Who plans to work again this summer? 🖐🏾 Start NOW! Our workforce partner E4E (Mr. Anthony Singleton that visits us) is starting now with job placement. Please don't wait until June asking us for summer jobs! 🙄

We recommend that you start collecting vital documents as soon as possible ( working papers, birth certificates, social security cards, state-issued ID, school ID (with picture).

Gathering these materials in advance will help ensure a smooth onboarding process and prevent any delays once the summer employment begins.

Getting them ready for work!

Community Baby Shower is returning to Temple University's Aramark Student Training and Recreation (STAR) Complex on Saturday, July 19th at 10am.

Free to the community, this popular event offers new and expecting Moms, Dads and Caregivers many healthcare, dietary and social resources that can help them and their babies live healthy lifestyles.

Internship slots are full! We've been receiving calls and emails this week about our paid internships for summer. FYI- We start processing youth for summer employment starting in March so they can get paid to work at Uptown Radio WJYN 98.5 FM and Uptown Youth Got Talent (Uptown Theater Philadelphia) in the summer. We assist students all year with retrieving their I-9 documents and working papers for employment. Youth who participate in our FREE workshops we offer year-round get 1st dibs on paid work experiences. Sign up on the waiting list and we'll reach out IF slots open up this summer:

Uptown Youth Got Talent (Uptown Theater Philadelphia) was pleased to partner with Fit and Fabulous this season and provide buses in two different parts of North Philly to get all the players and their families to the end of season basketball picnic at Aqua in Newtown Square. Keeping these young folks engaged in healthy activities is what we do!
