is to provide hope to others by showing that recovery from addiction is real; to reduce the stigma of the disease; to educate the media and public; to celebrate SAMHSA’s National Recovery Month; to honor people and organizations that provide services for the recovery community; and to honor those who have not survived this deadly disease. also provides PRO-ACT with the opportunity to raise funds so that we can continue to expand our services to the growing number of individuals and families who wish to access and sustain long-term recovery. We help them with recovery plan development, life skills, employment support, and assistance with family issues. And our prevention, advocacy, and recovery support services benefit the entire community.
