An incredible image and fascinating way to think about acupuncture. The Hua Tuo Jiaji (jia = lining; ji = spine) run parallel to the spine. Think about how amazing it is that Chinese medicine and acupuncture have been able to treat conditions and influence our nervous systems using esoteric concepts and wisdom 4000-5000 years before our modern understanding of the nervous system. Food for thought. Before humanity had modern medical science, we had the esoteric metaphors of Chinese medicine. It may be surprising to you, just how parallels can be found between the two paradigms.
