If you take barre and yoga at tuck, you'll feel stronger, more confident and less anxious in your daily life. We're over fitness companies making us feel less than and profiting off our insecurities. We're just a small business with five studios in the Philly area - we don't have any "celebrity" trainers or fancy sponsorships. But what we do have is a group of people that want to help others learn

to love movement and to stop punishing their bodies in the process (celebrating is way more fun!). You don't need to be a dancer, athlete, or coordinated to do it. We love barre because it is low impact but still gives us that "just went for a run" feeling. We love that we get an all-in-one full body workout in 30 minutes. We love that we can laugh while our muscles cry and feel a sense of community even when we're going through a pandemic. And we love yoga because it helps us feel grounded and flexible, in a time when we all need more of that. Learn more at tuckbarreyoga.com

The world feels heavy. Times like these (which we've had much too often in recent history) make me want to isolate and hide, as the outside world feels unsafe. But as I’ve been reflecting on our collective political choices these past few months, I’ve intentionally wrapped myself in our small, moral, safe community of kind, supportive humans. Honestly, it's been a bright light in what feels like a long tunnel of darkness. And more than that, it's given me energy to keep fighting in the ways that I can.

If you’re feeling alone, please remember that pain has a way of keeping our heads down, but if we take a moment to look to our right and left, we’ll see others standing with us. It sounds cheesy, but we're with you.  

That’s why we’re offering Rooted and Resilient: Yoga for a Chaotic World—free community classes for us to come together, ground ourselves, and remind each other that we are stronger when we stand side by side. Together, we’ll breathe, we’ll move, and we’ll face whatever comes our way with a little more peace, a little more strength, and a whole lot more resilience. 

You don’t have to carry this heaviness alone, and you deserve to care for yourself so you can show up in whatever way is most impactful. We’re here to remind you that people are still good and that the heaviness feels lighter when we allow others to help us carry it 💚

Our High Five for '25 Challenge starts Monday, January 6th! The holidays can be so magical ✨️ and we hope you have savored big celebrations along with quiet moments of joy and gratitude. But we all know that holiday magic comes at a cost, and at least for me, this year, I had very little time and energy for my own self care and routine. And omg, I miss feeling like myself 🫠

Getting back to feeling in rhythm doesn't have to be overwhelming! Our January Challenge encourages us to come back to ourselves and move in ways to support our bodies. We will help you build a sustainable, consistent practice with five classes each week. In every class, we meet you exactly where you are and encourage you to listen to what your body and your mind need that day. It seems so simple, but there's so much magic in simple ✨️

Unlike a typical cookbook with recipes only, this food book is about sharing the personal stories, traditions, and memories behind the recipes that mean the most to you. It will be a true community collaboration, filled with recipes and stories from our amazing Tuck community.

Whether it's a story about a meaningful event, a cherished family recipe passed down through generations, or a personal connection to food, we want to hear it. Our Story

We offer high-quality, individualized barre and yoga classes for all levels (both beginners and advanced). Our classes are small so you don’t get lost in the shuffle - we often break down confusing poses or exercises so that you get the most out of your class experience. There’s no pretense at tuck - we are real, down-to-earth instructors that try to make fitness and yoga accessible and fun. We’re a happy place.
