Best Life Recovery Residences was excited to host The ELM Foundation Leadership Social Services Class for Mental Health Day. I’m a 2024 LSS Graduate & absolutely love this program & how much I was able to learn about services & resources in our community.

🌟The LSS class finished Mental Health Day by visiting and learning more about His Way, an addiction recovery space for men and Best Life Recovery Residences, a sober living home for women recovering from addiction. These programs meet the person where they are at, walk alongside them in providjng supportive services in a wholesome environment.

Today reminded us-
❤️Mental health matters—every day, for everyone. It’s okay to talk about it. It’s okay to struggle. It’s okay to ask for help.
❤️Healing begins with honesty, compassion, and support. So as we change the conversation, we can create safe spaces and remind each other- we are not alone.

It was my privilege to share my experience, strength & hope in Florence, AL. Thank you to my friend Olivia Poole for asking me to speak. I love these 2 women…Olivia & Vicki Lou. We met the The University of Alabama Mind and Mentors Program. I’m so grateful to be on this journey with likeminded women & of course Shane Petree too. I appreciate Shane’s continued support & enthusiasm for recovery & helping others✌️💛🤘
