I met Dave Gallaher aka “Microwave Dave” when I moved back to Huntsville in 2012 and I was struggling with everything in my life.
His music brought me joy and he became a source of strength & inspiration. The stories he shared about his lived experiences gave me hope.
His support for my photography, sobriety and Best Life Recovery Residences was life changing. It was my privilege to photograph several Microwave Dave Day’s in support of the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation.
I will miss our Post Office conversations about our community, music & recovery.
Looking forward to celebrating Dave’s graduation with everyone whose life he touched…Beep Beep

Based on the Oxford House model and standards established by the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, Best Life equips women with recovery support, accountability and resources to help them move forward to live their best life.
