Last week, our owner Doriean Matthews had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Summit in Washington, D.C.! 💛

More than 2,200 small business owners from across the country came together to advocate on Capitol Hill, network, and learn from world-class business leaders who shared valuable insights on growth, leadership, and community impact.

While the government shutdown limited some of our advocacy efforts, we were still able to meet with our local and state representatives and connect with policymakers who help shape the policies that affect small businesses like ours. It was a powerful reminder of the importance of having a seat at the table when decisions are being made that impact our teams, our patients, and our communities. 💬

This experience reignited our passion for our mission — helping older adults regain independence and thrive safely at home through personalized physical and occupational therapy. We’re returning even more inspired to grow, to develop our amazing team, and to continue serving our community with purpose and compassion. 🙏🏽✨

I woke up, filled with gratitude and joy. Yesterday I had the pleasure of giving a lecture on the importance of communication and advocating for patients to Drexel’s physical therapy grad students. It really felt like a full circle moment because I graduated from program in 2017.

I was really so impressed with how engaging and thoughtful the student’s responses were to the lecture, it gives me hope for the future of our profession.
