Isabel Artigues is a pioneering Physiotherapist (Ramon Llull University, Barcelona), Pilates instructor (Polestar Pilates) and Specialist in Performing Arts Medicine (MSc, University College London) combining diverse clinical experience and published research (Journal of Clinical Rheumatology, Journal of the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine) with regular lecturing at higher educati

on institutions in the UK (University College London, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance) and Spain (Institute of the Arts Barcelona). She has a huge passion to the growing field of Performing Arts Medicine and Science and is an active member of international organisations like the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA), the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science (IADMS), the Bridge Dance Project (BDP) and Athletes and the Arts. She was a founding member of the Spanish Multidisciplinary Association for the Performing Arts (AMPAE), and is now based in Philadelphia, USA.

Excellent few days back in London 🇬🇧 for the Annual Symposium, such a milestone for to host this international community of experts in Performing Arts Medicine!

Can’t believe it’s been 12 years since I graduated from the MSc in PAM myself and was calling London home ❤️

Loved learning & catching up with colleagues & friends from around the world 🌍 and even managed to sneak in some time for family & Pilates 💪🏻

Grateful for these full circle moments in life, and for all the great work I get to be part of 🙏🏻✨
