Abtec can protect your product from contaminants!

Abtec Inc. has recently expanded with the growing demand for plastic articles that require production in clean room condition specifically for the reduction of hydrocarbon free diagnostic testing equipment.

Medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacturers; the bio-technology industry and even electric and electronic equipment markets are in search of molding techniques under specific clean room conditions. The extent to which our clean room commitment is made depends upon the product specifications.

The air premises where medical products are being made must be free from germs and particulate. Abtec is now taking these steps specifically for hydrocarbons for those OEMs who require reduced hydrocarbon contamination.

Production dust is unavoidable; however the overall number of particles can be reduced to a minimum using the techniques Abtec is suited to provide through carbon-filterization.

In addition, Abtec’s material expertise of the selection of thermoplastics that produce less hydrocarbons as well as regular press and tool maintenance is important to contamination reduction. This is being done utilizing Abtec’s ISO clean work cell.
Abtec’s staff of process technicians and press operators are trained for the special rules of conduct for clean room conditions, from special handling of the parts to protective wearables.

Abtec is prepared to accept specific demands that clean room injection molding operations entail. Contact us today to review your plastic part production under clean room conditions!

The manufacturing process can be a complicated one.

There are many factors to consider when choosing a plastic injection molding company that best suits your industry, products & production requirements.

The best place to start is by gaining basic knowledge of the plastic molding process. Explained in its simplest form, the process uses polymers or plastic resins that when heated, melted and injected under high pressure into a custom mold, will produce plastic parts to be utilized in product manufacturing.

While that process seems straightforward, many manufacturers need an injection molder partner that can produce highly complex parts and caters to their unique industry needs, specifications, end-uses and time / budget constraints.

If you’re like most companies, you have unique & specific needs. It is crucial to the success of your part that you work with a molder that understands your expectations and challenges. Taking these considerations into account will help you streamline the process of choosing a plastic injection molding part manufacturer.

Injection molding is the most commonly used manufacturing process for the fabrication of plastic parts.

Abtec Inc. manufactures a wide variety of products using injection molding, which vary greatly in size, complexity, and application.

The injection molding process requires the use of an injection molding machine of which Abtec Inc. has 24 to 240 ton presses, a wide variety of raw plastic material, and a mold that we build to our customer's specifications.

The plastic is melted in the injection molding machine and then injected into the mold, where it cools and solidifies into the final part.
