This is so amazing! 🙌🏻

An outpouring of support and kindness traveling at the speed of light!

"Light Up the Night" included more than 100 vehicles representing over 75 organizations safely traveling as a parade in front of the Children's Hospital and Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Participants ranged from central PA law enforcement departments to local EMS and fire agencies, as well as several towing companies, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, PA State Police and PA Emergency Management Agency.

Created by a consortium of local and regional agencies, "Light Up the Night" is intended to brighten the spirits of patients receiving care and their families. The participants also teamed up to provide giveaways for young patients, including flashlights and coloring books.

The holidays are a great time to reflect on the things you are thankful for as 2018 Miracle mom Alanna Parsons recently did. When her son Elio was born prematurely, she was thankful for the staff and state-of-the-art equipment available in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. Read her message below that was featured in our recent appeal letter and take the opportunity to join her in making a gift to ensure the special care is here when Kids Like Elio need it.
