It's nice to get outside in nature. For us, that means lots of water time, as it's currently quite hot here in Phoenix still!

I love spending time with this sweet boy, we're just a little velcroed to each other 💜🩵💜

Go outside, soak up some sunshine, and play with your dog! 💕

P.S. I love how we look like we go together 😍🤩🥰

I've been wanting to make these for awhile now, but I finally got up the nerve to try making them!

I'm working on making some homemade herbal suppos¡tories. I'm using an herbal oil based extract for my medicinal portion and a cocoa butter and coconut oil as my base!

Super excited to try these out!

Endometriosis mental health 🎗️🧠❤️‍🩹

Did you know 50% of Endometriosis patients have contemplated su***de?

Did you know ~87% of Endometriosis patients present with depression?

When I was first diagnosed, my doctors regularly lied to me about my pmlife would look like with Endometriosis. I wasn't put on a pain management plan. In fact, it took me 12 years to be prescribed pain medication. And I was having 10/10 pain REGULARLY.

I realize there are risks with prescribing prescription pain medication. But there are also some serious consequences of NOT PRESCRIBING anything too!

How long can someone survive in excruciating pain without anyone taking it seriously?

1. More medical professionals need to know about Endometriosis and know how to diagnose and treat it

2. Pain management plans and gaslighting patients in severe pain have very real consequences

3. We need to be asking more about the mental health of our Endo peeps!

Hardest part of living with Endometriosis: living in debilitating, chronic pain every single day

I know this may sound overly dramatic, overly simplified, or just extra... But being in so much pain you cannot complete everyday tasks is draining.

A normal grocery store run & putting the groceries away drains me and leaves me in full body aches for the rest of the day.

Showering, doing my hair, and getting ready for a fun outing needs to happen either hours before hand or the day before.

Standing around talking to friends, makes my pelvic floor so tight and painful I have cramps, spot and bleed for the next 2 days.

Flare days leave my entire house in shambles because of lack of energy & high pain limiting my activities of daily living

Having pain so high that I get nauseous and can't eat, is something I struggle with daily

And the mental toll of constant pain is very real and tiring.

As someone who grew up with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, I know what constant chronic pain feels like. I know the struggles of joint pain, stiff joints and an inability to move freely.

But pelvic pain, is no joke! I'd much rather be able to mentally isolate my pain to an extremity, but when it's core body pain it's a different ball game.

Best tip for a good night's sleep during an endo flare: heated mattress pad 🛌

I've said it before and I'll say it again! I 😍 my heated mattress pad!

Yes, I do live in the Pheonix area and yes, I do use it YEAR ROUND! And if I'm flaring real bad, I put a heated blanket on top of me too 🥵

I usually wake up covered in sweat, but at least I slept!

Bonus: a body pillow between myself and my Hubby keeps my side of the bed TOASTY and his side of the bed a comfortable temperature

Pro tip: stagger your pain meds (if possible) and take a sleeping aid if you're really struggling... usually taking 1 dose of pain meds and cranking down the AC while cranking up the heated mattress pad is enough for me! 😁

Thank you to my biggest supporter, my husband Nathan!

We've been together for a decade now, and quickly approaching our 9 year wedding anniversary 🤯 how did it go so fast?

When he vowed to love and care for me in sickness and in health, I don't think he quite knew what he was signing up for... he says he did, and that a promise is a promise 💗

But I am so incredibly thankful to have such a kind, supportive and loving man by my side!
